The MicroCement concrete floating shelf from the Edgar range (in Fossil 2) is handcrafted in BespokeCrete’s workshop in Norfolk, UK using only the best locally sourced materials.

Made and ready to dispatch using the most reliable Microcement on the market – that is fully waterproof, heat, crack, stain and scratch resistant, whilst being non-porous.

Please note these shelves are only suitable for inside use due to the brackets that we use. It exposes the wood beneath the MicroCement and compromises the waterproof properties of the MicroCement.

Microcement is a cement and resin hybrid that is incredibly strong – a lightweight coating that is an alternative to solid concrete, without the associated issues.

The floating shelf measurements are as follows:

What is MicroCement

MicroCement is a cement-based coating that is mixed with fine aggregates, resins and pigments to provide an extremely strong, highly bonded finish. MicroCement creates a fully waterproof coating that is hand applied over a wooden shelf. These shelves can not be used outside or in showers due to the nature of the brackets used.
